Job Summary
Own and design Junior's lifecycle automation engine from zero for a high-growth B2B SaaS, including in-product and email messaging triggered by user behavior, targeted campaigns, and adoption/retactivation workflows. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Data, define lifecycle tracking, improve onboarding/training experiences, and drove activation, feature adoption, and revenue-influenced outcomes. This is the first dedicated Lifecycle hire, with potential to build a team and own end-to-end lifecycle programs for a small, high-value audience; you’ll be measured on activation rate, feature adoption, reactivation, and impact on revenue, using tools like Customer.io, Attio, Segment, and related tech. You will report to the CS Lead and work with Founding Marketer and leadership, shaping scalable, automated experiences and a knowledge base for training and support.
Required Qualifications
- 4 to 7 years of relevant industry experience in lifecycle marketing, growth, or CRM marketing at a high-growth B2B SaaS
- Experience building a lifecycle engine from zero, with journeys, triggers, tools, and measurable results
- Strong segmentation and behavioural targeting abilities; ability to explain targeting decisions
- Excellent written communication; ability to produce clear, educational content for virtual training
- Tool fluency with Customer.io, Braze, Iterable, HubSpot; comfortable in data layer (SQL, event tracking, Segment/CDP setups)
- Numerate with ability to build funnel views and interpret data without relying on a data analyst
- AI literacy and ability to integrate LLMs into workflows
