Job Summary
Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports to identify trends, performance patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Compare actual sales results against revenue forecasts, budgets, and expectations while developing forecasts and evaluating the potential revenue impact of business proposals. Partner with Sales, Marketing, and leadership teams to support strategic planning, present findings to executives, and provide actionable recommendations to increase revenue and address organizational weaknesses. Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical tools using internal and external data sources to support data mining and sales performance analysis. Monitor sales performance against established budgets and business goals while maintaining accurate documentation and reporting standards.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with sales reporting, forecasting, data analysis, or business intelligence
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to present findings clearly to executives and business leaders
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access
- Strong computer and database skills
- Ability to recognize trends and translate data into practical business recommendations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Marketing, and leadership teams
Desired Qualifications
- One or more years of sales management or sales analytics experience
- Experience with database management or SQL
- Experience developing dashboards or automated reporting tools
- Experience working with large or complex datasets
- Experience supporting revenue forecasting and business planning
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
