Job Summary
Customer Information Assistant at Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center greets and assists patients, guests, and staff entering the main campus, handles inquiries, directs to departments, protects patient information, uses the EMR to locate appointments, supports Hackerman-Patz House registration, and may provide patient transportation. Core duties include answering phones, providing information, maintaining a welcoming environment, and ensuring confidentiality in a healthcare setting. Requires high school diploma/equivalency, two years of customer service experience (preferably healthcare), strong communication skills, and basic PC/typing abilities (35 wpm). Medical terminology knowledge recommended.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate
- Two years of previous customer service experience, preferably worked in a healthcare environment
- Demonstrates effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Must demonstrate basic personal computer and typing abilities (35wpm)
- Medical terminology knowledge recommended
