Job Summary
Customer / Guest Service Agent duties include delivering quality aviation-ground-handling customer service to travelers and corporate clients, handling reservations, answering phones and emails, assisting with baggage and flight operations, and supporting various airline-related tasks while maintaining safety, procedures, and teamwork. Strong verbal and written communication, flexibility, and the ability to work in a fast-paced aviation environment are essential; experience with computer bookings, CRM basics, and a willingness to obtain an airport pass are beneficial.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent experience
- Must be able to speak English; bilingual preferred
- Must be able to apply and secure an Airport Restricted Area Pass (RAIC) or airport security pass
- Knowledge of aviation and its related terms, short forms and verbiage
- Ability to speak and understand more than the English language would be an asset but not required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows, and computer programs
- Computerized Reservations System (CRS) – Navitaire would be an asset but not required
- Previous airline/in person customer service experience would be an asset
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision, and/or in a team environment working varied and/or split shifts
