Job Summary
Identify and engage school districts through targeted outreach, networking, and referrals to build a strong pipeline. Build relationships with district leaders, understand their priorities, and guide them from initial interest to commitment. Develop and deliver a smooth customer journey from lead generation through to onboarding, collaborating with Marketing, Customer Success, Learning, Product, and Operations. Initiate district data privacy agreement processes to ensure a smooth handoff. Maintain accurate customer and pipeline information in Salesforce to track progress toward acquisition goals. Represent the Foundation at conferences and external events to communicate our mission.
Required Qualifications
- Eligible to work in the USA
- Experience in customer growth, partnerships, business development, or a similar role
- Ideally within K–12 education or edtech
- A good understanding of US school systems and how districts make decisions about new programs, products, or resources
- A track record of working toward measurable growth, acquisition, partnership, or customer success goals
- Highly organized and proactive, with experience managing multiple customers and workstreams at different stages
- A clear and confident communicator, comfortable engaging with educators, school leaders, and district decision-makers
- Skilled in using data and feedback to understand customer needs and improve conversion
- Experience using a CRM (e.g. Salesforce) to track relationships, activity, and progress
- A strong alignment with the Foundation's mission and values, particularly around educational equity and access
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
