Job Summary
Responsible for receiving, handling, and processing incoming shipments to support accurate order fulfillment in a warehouse environment. Duties include unloading, organizing, and staging products; verifying shipment details and documentation; recording weights and dimensions in warehouse systems; preparing orders for shipment or pickup with proper labeling and packaging; assisting with loading freight and maintaining an organized workspace. Requires attention to detail, strong customer service skills, ability to work with team members, and adherence to HSSE policies. Experience in retail, warehousing, or receiving, plus proficiency with computers, handheld scanners, and warehouse management systems, is desired. Forklift experience is preferred and the role is performed primarily in a warehouse setting with exposure to outdoor conditions and moving equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum one year of experience in retail, customer service, warehousing or receiving department
- Forklift experience preferred
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Previous transportation or retail industry experience preferred
