Job Summary
Deliver exceptional in-home service experiences by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing premium appliances while maintaining van stock of spare parts. Assess product performance, identify effective repair solutions, and communicate recommendations clearly to customers. Complete service documentation, quotations, and job records accurately, adhering to safety standards and company policies. Maintain a strong commitment to operational excellence through continuous technical development and collaboration with experienced colleagues. This role supports the Brisbane team in becoming the world's most human-centred appliance brand, offering comprehensive training for those seeking hands-on problem-solving in domestic appliances.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in appliance repair, fault-finding and troubleshooting, ideally within domestic appliances, whiteware, electronics, or a related technical trade
- The ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and service documentation
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and provide effective long-term solutions
- A customer-first mindset with a professional approach and excellent communication skills
- Strong written communication skills and confidence using digital service systems, Microsoft Office, and mobile technology
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work autonomously
- A commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement
- A current driver's licence and the ability to travel to customer locations as required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience servicing premium appliances or Fisher & Paykel products
- Electrical, Electronics, Appliance Service, Refrigeration, or related Trade Qualification
- Queensland Restricted Electrical Work Licence (Disconnect/Reconnect endorsement) or equivalent electrical authorisation
- Licensed Electrical Service Technician or Registered Electrical Service Technician experience
