Job Summary
Perform daily personal and business account services including opening, servicing, and transaction processing for checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, and HSAs. Greet clients with courtesy, respond to inquiries on account status, and educate customers on self-service tools and digital banking issues. Maintain proficiency in money handling functions, balance cash drawers, and resolve discrepancies while adhering to internal controls and fraud prevention protocols. Relay customer feedback to supervisors and attend scheduled training for regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate a computer
- Software skills
- Fundamental mathematical ability
- Capability to work with and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
- Ability to learn and adapt in a cross-functional environment
- General areas of competency: decision making, dependability, development, environmental safety, evaluation skills, interpersonal skills, prioritizing, problem solving, selling skills, team skills and time management
- Effective oral and written communication skills (including telephone)
