Job Summary
Meet and greet customers professionally while providing superior, efficient service by communicating rental terms, vehicle features, and optional protection products. Answer incoming calls for reservations, rate quotes, and general inquiries, and place outgoing calls for callback management. Assist with rental processes by verifying driver information, assessing vehicle condition upon return, and notifying management of customer or vehicle problems. Offer directions, maps, and local area information to enhance the customer experience. This Full Time union position at the Detroit Metro Airport requires open availability across mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations in the last three years, and have at least two years of customer service or sales experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position, now or in the future
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of customer service or sales experience in retail, guest services, or administrative support
- Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years
- No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record in the last 5 years
- Must be able to work outdoors (parking lot and garage) in the elements with long periods of standing
- Must be able to work varying shifts, including morning, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
