Job Summary
Accurately respond to verbal and written inquiries and complaints from subscribers, providers, brokers, or group administrators while processing claim adjustments during phone calls or regular work time. Apply dental knowledge to handle client interactions, maintain documents for adjustment requests, and follow up on investigations, overpayment letters, and e-forms. Requires strong customer service and communication skills, proficiency in an ACD environment with talk and work time goals, and knowledge of insurance reimbursement practices including policies, deductibles, maximums, and Coordination of Benefits. Hiring pay range is $20-24/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use good judgment when applying dental knowledge when processing claims and handling client calls
- Knowledge of insurance reimbursement practices, i.e. processing policies, deductibles, maximums, Coordination of Benefits (COB) and dental terminology
- Excellent attendance and punctuality record
