Job Summary
Promotes an excellent customer experience by overseeing front-of-store Associates, ensuring prompt, courteous service and promotion of loyalty programs; trains and mentors staff on front-end principles, assigns registers, coordinates breaks and POS coverage, and maintains a clean, organized store. Builds a positive internal and external customer experience, models honesty and integrity, and provides updates to management on priorities. Collaborates with leadership on Associate training needs, enforces labor laws and safety standards, supports shrink-reduction initiatives, and participates in ongoing development of merchandising and customer-service skills. Requires flexibility to work nights and weekends and strong communication to coordinate with Supervisors and peers.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Available to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends
- Strong understanding of merchandising techniques
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Able to train others
- Experience with front-end operations and POS coverage
- Familiarity with labor laws and safety procedures
- Customer-service oriented with ability to mentor Associates
- Promotes loyalty programs and customer experience
