Job Summary
Customer Experience Associate handles front-end interactions: smiles and greets customers, answers questions, and helps resolve concerns promptly; processes checkouts, operates scanning equipment and cash register, bags merchandise, and ensures accurate charges and appropriate funds are collected; maintains cash drawer security and adherence to cash handling procedures; follows tobacco and alcohol sale guidelines; stays knowledgeable about weekly ads and promotions to answer customer questions; maintains department sanitation, adheres to health and OSHA requirements, and disposes of trash properly; cooperates with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth department/store function; may assist in other departments; uses PPE as required and pursues continuous improvement in performance; Weis Markets emphasizes equal opportunity employment and opportunities for growth.
