Job Summary

Handle customer questions and concerns using discretion and independent judgment regarding projects or other related issues. Maintain customer files physically and electronically. Process orders, changes, and returns per company policies; provide information on service options, charges, billing, and contract parameters. Coordinate with production staff and external vendors to communicate customer information, process new part-number and quote requests, and submit quote letters. Respond professionally to inquiries about service levels, order status, billing questions, and product knowledge; collaborate with sales to forecast and identify prospects. Enter paperwork for shipping, prepare daily invoices, and ensure deliveries are on time. Manage customer inventories and maintain customer profiles and pricing data; perform regular touch calls to develop trust and generate new orders. Ensure compliance with corporate standards and federal anti-trust laws; contribute to a positive, respectful work environment. Education requirement is an Associates Degree in business or equivalent experience; other core competencies include initiative, teamwork, ethics, and customer service knowledge.

Required Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in business or 2 years of experience in a business-to-business manufacturing environment.
