Job Summary
Field Service Engineer role focusing on installing, maintaining, and upgrading customer equipment for semiconductor and related industries. You will troubleshoot using diagnostic tools, follow and generate documented procedures, communicate with customers and internal teams, and lead projects as needed. The position requires mentoring junior engineers, strong hands-on skills across electrical, mechanical, vacuum, and related systems, and willingness to travel. On-site presence in Singapore is required, with extensive walking, physical work in tight spaces, and PPE usage in a clean-room environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7-10 years of experience in semiconductor industry or equipment support
- Advanced mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, and/or thermodynamics
- Strong knowledge of hand tools and their usage, including digital multimeters
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain passport for travel
- Ability to meet on-site safety, environmental guidelines, and COVID-19 protocols
