Job Summary
Customer Engagement Specialist who will plan territory/account approaches, manage resources, assist in training new team members, and develop account plans. Responsibilities include inventory management for customer-specific material, coordinating with operations, serving as a production meeting representative, and engaging in occasional face-to-face, local sales interactions with potential for some out-of-area travel. Requires strong knowledge of metal products, ERP systems, and MS Office; emphasizes proactive customer relationship development and the ability to negotiate product/service terms when appropriate. The role is based in the Charlotte or Greenville, NC area and involves local travel with possible overnight trips.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 3-5 years prior sales or industry experience preferred
- Solid understanding of product offerings, ERP systems, and markets served
- Proficient in MS Office
- Minimal travel; travel local with some overnight travel possible
