Job Summary
Customer Engagement Applications Engineer role focused on providing technical applications support for the development and implementation of KLA reticle and photomask inspection systems, including customer demonstrations, acceptance testing, training, recipe setup, project execution, alpha/beta testing, and pre-sales activities. Travel to customer sites is required. Responsibilities also include assisting marketing and Account Sales in assessing product applications, disseminating technical information, escalating field issues for fixes, generating project summaries and customer use-case pitches, and collaborating with customers and divisions to maximize product value. Requires strong project management and communication skills; typically holds a Master’s degree (or Bachelor’s with related experience) and participates in cross-functional activities within a global team.
