Job Summary
Drive omnichannel customer development for Hill’s Pet Nutrition in New Zealand, managing the Customer Development function to secure optimal product placement and execute promotional strategies. Own the Customer P&L including forecasting and planning; allocate commercial investment across the 7Ps to maintain Hill’s as the preferred partner in super-premium pet nutrition. Formulate and execute annual business plans for retail, online and vet channels; negotiate trading terms and deliver ROI-focused initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Digital, Supply Chain) to build opportunities, ensure planning accuracy, and achieve e-commerce fundamentals. Lead and coach a Customer Development Executive; success measured by building strategic customer relationships, driving sales growth, and positioning Hill’s as a leader in pet nutrition. Travel up to 20% with a hybrid work arrangement based in Auckland.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in business, commerce, or related field
- 3-5 years experience in Customer Management roles
