Job Summary
Customer Delivery Driver at Waitrose & Partners in Nailsea, Somerset. Responsibilities include loading and preparing the delivery van, checking delivery routes, delivering orders directly to customers, conducting vehicle safety checks, representing the Waitrose brand with strong customer service, assisting with in-store tasks as needed, and supporting the shop team. Part-time role (22.5 hours per week) with early starts, late finishes, evenings and weekends. Night premium of £3.75 per hour applies between 22:00 and 06:00. Pre-employment vetting may include DBS checks; flexible working options may be available. 10 Partnership level role within the John Lewis Partnership, requiring independent work and a customer-focused approach.
Required Qualifications
- Full valid UK manual driving licence (B-category) with no more than 6 points
- Good customer service skills
- Time management
- Ability to lift and move crates, physically able for delivery work
- IT literate
- 18 years or older
