Job Summary
Delivery-focused role responsible for loading and preparing delivery van, checking routes, performing vehicle safety checks, and delivering orders to customers while representing Waitrose brand; role includes in-store tasks, potential night premium for hours between 22:00–06:00, DBS checks may be required, part-time hours (22.5/wk) across Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with flexible working options and a strong emphasis on customer service and teamwork within the John Lewis Partnership.
Required Qualifications
- Full valid B-Category UK manual driving licence with no more than 6-points
- Great customer service skills
- Time management skills
- Able to cope with the physical requirements of the role (e.g. lifting of crates, moving cages)
- Comfortable working independently with the ability to be self motivated and adaptable
- IT literate
