Customer Delivery Driver, Supermarket Assistant

In this part-time role, you’ll start in-store and manage daily delivery tasks including verifying routes, loading the van, performing vehicle safety checks, and delivering orders directly to customers while maintaining excellent customer service and supporting the shop team as needed. Night premiums apply for hours between 22:00 and 06:00, and the role requires an 18+ age minimum. Key duties include route checking, van preparation, ensuring safety and road compliance, building rapport with customers, assisting with shop tasks, and adapting to varied hours across seven days. The position is based at Oxford Botley Road within the Waitrose & Partners store and is described as part of a larger employee-owned partnership with emphasis on flexible working and DBS/vetting processes where applicable.
