Job Summary
Customer Care Specialist responsible for delivering an outstanding customer experience through inbound calls, emails, chats, and texts; educate customers on ThermoWorks products and guide purchase decisions; process and approve orders and route inquiries to teammates; maintain accurate customer data; build loyalty through professional interactions with customers across commercial foods, competition BBQ, home cooking and baking; work schedule includes Monday–Friday 9am–6pm and every other Saturday 8am–5pm with 25% extra hourly pay; requires 3 years of customer service experience, strong cooking/baking/BBQ interest, and ability to become technically expert in ThermoWorks products; must have excellent written and verbal communication, strong computer skills, attention to detail, time management, organizational skills, accountability, and ability to work both independently and with a team.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of customer service experience
- demonstrated interest in cooking, baking, and/or BBQ
- ability to become technically expert in ThermoWorks products and their use in food preparation
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent computer skills
- Extreme attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proven ability to take responsibility and accountability
- Ability to work both independently and with a team and to receive and respond to instructions
