Job Summary
Customer Care Specialist at Life-Assist delivers WOW-level service by engaging with customers via telephone, chat, in person, or email to provide information, take orders, and resolve issues. Responsibilities include recording customer interactions, greeting walk-in customers, processing orders, coordinating with internal departments (Products Specialist, Purchasing, Compliance) to resolve service and licensing questions, filing external claims, assisting visitors on-site, administering Life-Assist website, collecting prescription authorization forms, verifying licensing status, identifying potential fraud or loss, and driving high customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes empathy, positivity, flexibility, resourcefulness, and tenacity, with a focus on delivering solutions, building relationships, and improving processes. Requirements include 3+ years of customer service or related sales support experience, preferred Associates or BA/BS degree, experience in medical equipment distribution a plus, strong communication skills, quick learning of processes/systems, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in customer service or related sales support
- Associates or BA/BS degree preferred
- Experience in medical equipment products and/or distribution industry a plus
