Job Summary
Booking Agent role at Lake Imaging in North Melbourne. You will be the first point of contact for patients, taking inbound calls, handling bookings and enquiries, notifying patients of pre-visit requirements, liaising with technical and support staff, quoting fees and Medicare rebate amounts, and booking appointments at the relevant site. Requires excellent communication and empathy, with prior customer service or high-volume call centre experience; health/medical reception experience and RIS/PACS familiarity are highly regarded. In-house training provided; permanent full-time with regular office hours.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication & phone skills
- Previous customer service or high-volume call centre experience
- Confident using computers and quick to learn new systems
- Proactive attitude to training and development
- Health/medical reception experience (highly regarded)
- RIS/PACS systems experience (also highly regarded)
