Job Summary
Customer Care Specialist & Delivery Driver: The role combines customer service in-store and online with hands-on delivery responsibilities. About half the time is spent receiving and delivering items, the rest collaborating with customers in the store. The position is the face of the company when interacting with customers, including federal and military clients. Responsibilities include assisting with all aspects of customer service, processing incoming/outgoing shipments, and providing desktop delivery to federal customers. This opportunity offers exposure to store operations and potential upward mobility while supporting visually impaired employment goals. Requirements include retail-customer-service experience, a valid driver’s license with clean driving record, ability to pick/pack/load/unload large shipments, high-accuracy order entry, strong interpersonal/communication skills, basic computer skills (email and ERP), and commitment to supporting visually impaired employment.
Required Qualifications
- Customer service experience in a retail environment
- A track record of providing service that exceeds customer expectations
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pick, pack, load and unload large shipments
- Detail-oriented with the ability to review orders and enter information at the highest level of accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer skills working with e-mail and an ERP system
