Job Summary
Provide exceptional customer service through phone and personal contact, resolving inquiries and escalating complaints as needed. Process counter transactions, payments, and billing inquiries while documenting customer records and updating accounts. Coordinate service requests for gas and water needs, determining scope of work and managing parts inventory. Assist with light collections, handle assigned inside sales responsibilities, and support special projects. Maintain professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality of information while ensuring all paperwork is complete and accurately submitted. Work in a fast-paced office environment requiring strong data entry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma / GED
- Must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Must be dependable with a stable work history
- Ability to follow verbal and written directions
- Ability to maintain stability under pressure
- Ability to be flexible and willing to modify plans and behavior when necessary
- Ability to work with respect and cooperation at all times with fellow employees and customers
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and build rapport with customers
- Exercise solid organizational and communication skills
- Good phone skills
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
- Ability to maintain professionalism, integrity, security, image and confidentiality of information and records
