Customer Care - Quality Control Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate quality control inspections and deficiency management for assigned residential projects, ensuring issues are documented, distributed to trade partners, and tracked to resolution. Monitor outstanding deficiencies, conduct follow-up inspections, and verify corrective actions align with project schedules and quality standards. Maintain project schedules, homeowner orientation calendars, and unit completion forecasts to provide accurate readiness dates and milestone updates. Communicate quality concerns, schedule risks, and deficiency requirements through regular coordination meetings and support resource planning for inspections and trade work. Perform minor repairs, cleaning, and finishing tasks where appropriate to support project completion. Work closely with Construction teams, trade partners, and stakeholders to resolve issues and meet possession timelines. This one-year fixed term role supports Wesgroup's residential development pipeline across Western Canada.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum 5 years of experience in residential construction, project coordination, quality control, warranty service, or a related field
- Experience coordinating schedules, tracking deficiencies, and working with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced construction environment
- Experience using project management, construction management, or deficiency tracking software, such as Autodesk
- Strong understanding of residential construction and finishing practices, deficiency tracking, quality control processes, and project scheduling

Desired Qualifications
- a college, trade, or technical diploma in project management, carpentry, trades, operations, or a related discipline
- Trade certification or specialty trade experience
- residential high-rise or multi-family development experience
- experience managing project schedules or construction workflows
- Experience with BC New Home Warranty processes and residential possession activities
