Job Summary
Check-in and check-out patients, schedule appointments, and manage patient demographics and insurance verification. Process payments, reconcile cash drawers, and distribute mail while monitoring the waiting room for delays. Coordinate interpreting services, provide clinical summaries, and respond to walk-in needs. Monitor the electronic health record inbox, scan documents, and float between front desk and scheduling areas as needed. Participate in process improvement initiatives, outreach events, and seasonal clinics. Maintain regular on-site attendance Monday through Friday with occasional weekend or evening coverage required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of relevant experience
- Comparable combined education and/or experience
- Regular attendance on-site
- Flu vaccine or approved exemption
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical office/clinical environment
