Job Summary
Customer Care Area Manager responsible for managing complex customer care claims related to structural repairs from initial investigation to completion. Oversees bid negotiations with vendors and attorneys, schedules and budget for repair projects, ensures quality workmanship and adherence to codes, maintains proactive communication with homeowners, provides status updates to Division leadership, and collaborates with attorneys, vendors, and homebuyers to ensure timely, cost-effective repairs and positive customer experiences.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering reports
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and auto insurance
- Regular, in-person attendance at job sites and offices; ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Minimum 5 years experience in Project Management (construction preferred) and in Customer Service (homebuilder preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
