Job Summary

Customer Care Advocate I serves as the primary contact for requests for orders, quotes, product questions, and other customer inquiries, delivering an effortless customer experience through product and system expertise, ownership, accountability, and collaboration with internal teams. Responsibilities include handling inquiries and orders per standard policies, building strong customer relationships, supporting corporate initiatives to overserve customers, daily planning to meet commitments, handling escalations with first-contact resolution when possible, and participating in training initiatives within the department. Requires high school diploma; 2+ years of customer care experience preferred; proficiency with SharePoint, MS Teams, Windows OS; familiarity with Oracle/SAP and CRM platforms; strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills; customer-centric problem solving and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma required
  • Two years of professional customer care experience preferred
  • College degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Experience with business tools such as SharePoint, MS Teams, Windows Operating Systems required
  • Experience with Oracle &/or SAP (or other ERP systems)
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics
  • Demonstrated proficiency in keyboarding skills, ability to type approx. 45+ words per minute
  • Demonstrated patience and approachability with other team members
  • Strong communication/interpersonal & organizational skills
  • Team oriented with ability to work in a highly dynamic team and fast-paced environment
