Job Summary

The Customer Care Administrator I provides administrative support to Aqua Customer and State Operations. Responsibilities include responding to customer questions and issues using multiple Customer Information systems to research and resolve problems (Banner CIS, Service Link, AMRA, ASOA, InfoStream, ACES); performing a variety of customer care administrative tasks in line with service standards and best practices; aligning daily activities with departmental goals; handling escalated customer claims (disputes, BBB, formal/informal commission complaints); researching customer issues and updating accounts; ensuring compliance with state regulations governing utility services; building relationships across the service organization; maintaining professional communication with management and relevant staff; staying current on state regulations and operational policies; participating in special projects and cross-functional teams; and performing other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High School graduate or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years administrative support or customer service experience
