Job Summary
Customer Assistance Coordinator role handling inbound medical-assistance support for travelers: provide calm, clear guidance; coordinate medical services (doctor/facility referrals, prescription replacements, travel arrangements); liaise with medical professionals and global partners; document case details in policy systems; manage multiple cases with empathy and accuracy; operate in a fast-paced environment with a hybrid schedule (3 days in the office, 2 days remote) and a shift differential for evenings/weekends. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, customer-service or healthcare coordination experience, strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to think critically under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in customer service, call-centre, healthcare coordination, travel assistance, or another client-facing role.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm, empathetic, and professional when supporting people in distress.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with confidence documenting information accurately and thoroughly.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise competing demands, and follow established processes.
- Good problem-solving skills and the confidence to think through unfamiliar situations.
- A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Medical terminology, healthcare exposure, or multilingual skills (highly regarded, but not required).
- Ability to work 10pm-8am shift with rotating weekends.
