Job Summary
Lead technical offer activity for HV substations by defining functional specifications, optimizing product scope, and analyzing client specifications to drive winning bid strategies. Develop technical solutions for configuration, performance estimation, and economics while interfacing with the commercial team and evaluating supplier technical offers. Execute analysis of plant and system performance, document technical specifications and costing elements, and resolve issues using established procedures. Serve as the primary interface between customers and GE Vernova, exchanging technical information and providing guidance on challenges. Requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, advanced English proficiency, and availability to travel one time per month.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in substation projects
- This role requires advanced experience in the Engineering of HV Substations
- Advanced English level to analyze documents, elaborate technical offers and lead technical discussions with Customers and colleagues
- Advanced knowledge of Office Package
- Availability to travel (1 time per month)
Desired Qualifications
- Past experience in Customer Application Engineering, elaborating technical offers
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Established project management skills
- Intermediate Spanish level is desirable
- Knowledge of Auto Cad
