Job Summary
Nightshift Manager leads overnight replenishment and store operations, organizing warehouse activities, replenishing shelves, and delivering high-quality customer service. Responsible for running the full shift independently, ensuring safety and wellbeing of colleagues, and maintaining standards for the morning service. Manages people including performance, disciplinaries, scheduling, and payroll accuracy, with a 4-night full-time schedule and a £4,500 night-shift premium. Requires strong leadership in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment, with a track record of coaching teams to deliver KPIs across sales, availability, customer satisfaction, and colleague engagement. Demonstrates resilience to overnight work, fosters inclusivity, and takes ownership of store operations in the absence of more senior management.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
- Proven track record of delivering customer service and coaching teams
- Operational leadership responsibilities in store/night shift
- Experience meeting or exceeding KPIs related to sales, availability, customer satisfaction, or employee engagement
- Experience managing employee relations issues including performance and absence management
- Comfort with night shifts and extended hours
