Job Summary
Nightshift Manager leads overnight replenishment and store operations, organizing warehouse and shelf replenishment, schedules and supervises a team to deliver KPI targets, ensures safety and wellbeing of colleagues, and provides coaching for excellent customer service. The role requires taking full ownership of the shift from 22:00–08:00, managing performance, disciplinaries, attendance, and pay accuracy, and keeping operations running smoothly in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- Track record of delivering brilliant customer service and coaching colleagues to do the same
- Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
- Operational leadership skills and responsibility for store operations in absence of senior managers
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding KPIs (sales, availability, customer satisfaction, colleague engagement)
- Experience managing employee relations issues including performance and absence management
- Desirable experience working night shifts in high-volume, operational environments and creating a safe, supportive atmosphere during out-of-hours trading
