Customer and Trading Manager - Nightshift

Job Summary
Lead a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities, prioritise deliveries, organise the warehouse, and replenish shelves while running a full store operation independently. Manage performance, capability, scheduling, and pay, conducting disciplinaries and ensuring accurate employee relations handling. Ensure standards are met by morning and provide brilliant customer service, coaching the team to do the same. Work full-time hours over four nights (22:00 to 08:00) with a £4,500 premium, demonstrating resilience to the physical and mental demands of nightshift working in a fast-paced, operational environment.
Required Qualifications
- Someone who is comfortable with nightshift working
- Previous line management responsibilities in a fast-paced, operational environment
- Resilience to deal with both the mental and physical demands of working nights
- Provides brilliant customer service
- Has previous experience delivering and monitoring KPI's or other performance indicators
- Can manage disciplinaries, performance issues or other similar employee relations issues
- Leads operations and is comfortable doing this alone in the absence of more senior management
- Puts inclusivity at the heart of everything they do
- A track record of delivering brilliant customer service and coaching colleagues to do the same
- Experience of leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
- Operational leadership skills
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding KPIs
- Has managed employee relations issues, including performance and absence management
