Job Summary
Nightshift Customer and Trading Manager to lead an overnight team at a Purley Way store (potential relocation within reasonable commuting distance). The role leads replenishment, organises warehouse and shelf replenishment, and may run full store operations overnight, ensuring safety, standards, and readiness for morning trade. Responsibilities include people management (performance, disciplinaries, scheduling, pay accuracy), coaching for excellent customer service, and achieving KPIs across sales, availability, and customer satisfaction. Nightshift hours are typically 22:00–08:00, four nights per week, with a £4,500 premium added to base pay. Desirable experience includes leadership in fast-paced, high-volume, customer-facing environments, with a focus on inclusivity and operational leadership in the absence of senior management.

- Essential Criteria: A track record of delivering brilliant customer service and coaching colleagues to do the same.
- Experience of leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment — motivated others, driven performance, and kept operations running smoothly.
- Operational leadership skills — responsibility for store operations in the absence of more senior managers.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding KPIs — sales, availability, customer satisfaction or colleague engagement.
- Has managed employee relations issues, including performance and absence management.
