Job Summary
Nightshift Customer and Trading Manager leading an overnight team to deliver replenishment across the store, manage a full shift and the safety of colleagues, and drive KPI performance. Responsible for coaching and disciplining staff, scheduling, and ensuring high standards at morning handover, with potential deployment to nearby locations. Strong emphasis on customer service, operational leadership, and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment during out-of-hours trading.
Required Qualifications
- Track record of delivering brilliant customer service and coaching colleagues to do the same
- Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment — motivated others, drove performance, kept operations running smoothly
- Operational leadership skills — responsibility for store operations in absence of more senior managers
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding KPIs — sales, availability, customer satisfaction, or colleague engagement
- Has managed employee relations issues, including performance and absence management
- Desirable: Has worked night shifts in a high-volume, operational environment — adapted to overnight working and created a safe, supportive atmosphere for the team during out-of-hours trading
