Customer and Trading Manager - Nightshift

Job Summary
Lead a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities, prioritise deliveries, organise the warehouse, and replenish shelves while running a full store operation independently. Manage performance, capability, and employee relations, including conducting disciplinaries and ensuring scheduling and pay are accurate. Ensure standards are maintained to prepare the store for morning customer service. Work full-time hours over four nights, typically from 22:00 to 08:00, with a £4,500 premium on top of base salary. Requires resilience to handle the physical and mental demands of nightshift working and experience leading in fast-paced, operational environments.
Required Qualifications
- Comfortable with nightshift working and adaptable to the physical and mental impact of these shift patterns
- Understanding of the importance of providing a safe and healthy environment for their team
- Previous line management responsibilities in a fast-paced, operational environment
- Resilience to deal with both the mental and physical demands of working nights
- Ability to provide brilliant customer service and coach a team to do the same
- Previous experience delivering and monitoring KPI's or other performance indicators
- Ability to manage disciplinaries, performance issues or other similar employee relations issues
- Ability to lead operations and be comfortable doing this alone in the absence of more senior management
- Puts inclusivity at the heart of everything they do
- Track record of delivering brilliant customer service and coaching colleagues to do the same
- Experience of leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
- Operational leadership skills
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding KPIs
- Experience managing employee relations issues, including performance and absence management
