Job Summary
Nightshift Customer and Trading Manager responsible for leading a team overnight to deliver replenishment across the store, organizing warehouse operations, and ensuring shelves are stocked for morning service. Manages performance, disciplinaries, scheduling, and pay, with a 4-night full-time shift pattern and a £4,500 premium on top of base salary. Demonstrates strong customer service, operational leadership in a fast-paced environment, KPI tracking, and commitment to inclusivity and colleague well-being. Must be comfortable with night shifts, able to work independently during the night, and maintain safe, healthy conditions for the team.
Required Qualifications
- Track record of delivering brilliant customer service and coaching colleagues to do the same
- Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
- Operational leadership skills with responsibility for store operations in the absence of more senior managers
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding KPIs (sales, availability, customer satisfaction, or colleague engagement)
- Experience managing employee relations issues including performance and absence management
- Desirable: experience working night shifts in a high-volume, operational environment and creating a safe, supportive atmosphere during out-of-hours trading
