Job Summary
Take day-to-day responsibility for store operations, often being the only manager in with accountability for the full shop, and lead a team to ensure customers are served efficiently and safely. Responsibilities include people management such as conducting disciplinaries, scheduling, and pay accuracy, plus occasional support for other stores. Demonstrates a track record of delivering excellent customer service, coaching colleagues, achieving KPIs (sales, availability, customer satisfaction, and colleague engagement), and managing employee relations issues in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. Leads operations in the absence of more senior management and is comfortable operating independently to keep store operations running smoothly.
Required Qualifications
- A track record of delivering brilliant customer service and coaching colleagues to do the same
- Experience of leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
- Operational leadership skills
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding KPIs
- Has managed employee relations issues, including performance and absence management
