Customer Activation Manager

$100,000–$100,000 year

HybridToronto, Ontario, Canada

Full TimeMedium

Job Summary

Lead a portfolio of customer activations from handoff to go-live, ensuring each account achieves 80%+ onboarded spend penetration and completes a full platform implementation within 120 days. Drive early ROI and product adoption by guiding customers through onboarding readiness, spend migration, and usage behaviors that maximize revenue and impact. Manage multiple activations in parallel with urgency, removing blockers quickly to maintain momentum and customer confidence. Continuously refine the activation playbook, automation, and processes to deliver efficient, repeatable high-impact customer activations at scale. This high-ownership role sits at the intersection of sales and customer success, blending commercial acumen with executional discipline to turn newly signed accounts into fully activated, revenue-generating customers.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years in implementation, onboarding, customer success, or solutions within SaaS or fintech
  • Proven experience driving commercial or consumption-based activation metrics — not just process completion
  • Strong technical aptitude with integrations, payment workflows, and APIs
  • Demonstrated ability to connect product adoption to measurable business outcomes
  • Excellent communication and project management skills — you bring clarity, influence, and urgency
  • Comfortable operating in fast-changing, high-growth environments where priorities evolve quickly
  • You're bilingual. You're fluent in both French and English — written and spoken — and can move effortlessly between the two with customers and colleagues across Canada
  • Experience in consumption-based business models, finance or payments, or revenue-driven customer success
  • Finance experience (either in fintech or experience in financial operations/accounting)
  • This is a hybrid role based in Toronto or the Greater Toronto Area (the regional municipalities of Durham, Halton, Peel, and York)
  • You'll work from our Toronto office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
