Job Summary
Customer Accounts Advisor at Aaron’s drives payment collections and lease agreement renewals by understanding lease benefits and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include maintaining customer accounts in the store computer system, contacting customers who have not renewed leases (in-home visits and over the phone), selling the benefits of timely renewal payments, assisting in meeting daily/weekly/monthly revenue and renewal goals, handling merchandise returns, and supporting the Sales Team as needed. The role requires safe vehicle operation, loading and securing product, periodic maintenance documentation, and accommodating management requests. Skills emphasized include empathy, active listening, clear explanations, multitasking, negotiation, and strong communication within a high-energy, customer-focused environment. A valid driver’s license, ability to lift substantial weights, and proficiency with store technology are essential.”,
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- United States at least 21 years old with a valid state Driver’s License and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy; including satisfactory MVR
- Must meet DOT requirements to obtain certification in required states (United States)
- Ability to work schedule of hours varying from 8 am to 9 pm
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without help and up to 300 lbs. with the assistance of a dolly
- Two years of retail/customer service experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High energy with the ability to effectively perform all functions of the store and multitasking effectively
- Proper telephone etiquette
