Job Summary
Customer Accounts Advisor for Aaron’s responsible for coaching customers on payment collections and lease renewals, maintaining customer accounts, conducting in-home visits and phone outreach, and supporting the Sales Team to achieve revenue and renewal goals. The role involves building relationships with customers, explaining lease benefits, delivering quality customer service, handling merchandise returns, ensuring accurate store data in computer systems, and safely operating company vehicles. Requires a valid driver’s license, ability to meet DOT certification requirements where applicable, and physical ability to lift heavy loads. Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and multitasking skills are essential, along with a professional appearance and customer-focused attitude. The position offers incentive pay and a benefits package and is based in Taylorsville, UT with in-person work expectations.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid state Driver’s License with satisfactory MVR
- Must meet DOT requirements to obtain certification in required states (United States)
- Two years of retail/customer service experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without help and up to 300 lbs. with dolly
- Proficient computer skills
