Job Summary

Customer Accounts Advisor role at Aaron’s focused on coaching customers through payment collections and lease renewals, building relationships via in-home visits and phone interactions, and supporting revenue and renewal goals. Responsibilities include maintaining customer accounts in the store system, contacting customers who have not renewed leases, selling benefits of timely renewal payments, assisting the Customer Account Manager with daily/weekly/monthly revenue targets, handling merchandise returns and guest deliveries, certifying merchandise in QA, maintaining weekly vehicle maintenance and route sheets, loading and securing products for company vehicles, safely operating company vehicles, and supporting the sales team with additional duties as needed. Requires a high-energy, customer-focused approach, strong communication, multi-tasking, negotiation, and the ability to work a varied schedule; relevant DOT certification and state driving requirements apply for the US and Canada postings.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Two years of retail/customer service experience preferred
  • Valid state Driver’s License; DOT requirements to obtain certification in required states
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without help and up to 300 lbs. with dolly
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
