Customer Account Specialist

Manage customer orders, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or electronic communication while determining pricing, delivery terms, and handling non-conformances. Negotiate margins and discount structures to maximize profit, research vendors for non-stock products, and coordinate order placement with the purchasing team. Oversee large-scale projects to ensure product availability and timely delivery, responding to requests regarding product information, expediting, and tracking shipments. Provide product and technical support, act as the primary contact between customers and internal departments, and identify upsell opportunities. Collaborate with operations, finance, and materials management to ensure accurate billing and inventory levels, while attending vendor training and supporting regional quality initiatives. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, strong knowledge of electrical distribution operations, and effective communication skills.
