Job Summary
Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for existing customers on service, billing, usage, and account matters. Meet regularly to review energy usage, provide efficiency recommendations, and resolve escalations by coordinating with plant operations. Prepare and deliver usage/consumption reports, exception reporting, and renewal materials while supporting contract renewals and retention programs. Build relationships across facility, operations, and executive levels, and assist the Business Development Manager with proposal preparation, presentations, and RFP responses. Maintain accurate CRM records, gather proposal inputs from Engineering, Operations, and Finance, and help identify expansion opportunities. Promote safety by following policies, completing training, and representing Cordia professionally in community and professional settings.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build long-term client relationships
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to interpret and analyze customer usage and account data
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities independently
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of related experience
- Valid state driver's license
- Requires operation of a motor vehicle
- Valid State Driver's License
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) preferred
- Experience in a customer-facing sales support, account management, or technical sales role preferred
- Experience in the energy, utilities, or commercial real estate industry a plus
- Basic understanding of building heating, cooling, and district energy systems a plus
