Job Summary
Procures grain products by developing and maintaining a customer base within a defined geographic area to meet business targets; negotiates grain contracts within marketing plans; coordinates logistics and administrative requirements; analyzes customer data to identify needs and opportunities; develops partnerships with current and potential customers; monitors market activity to inform program revisions; requires 1+ year in agriculture or sales-related customer service, and a certificate in Agriculture, Agri-Business, Business Administration or Sales and Marketing or equivalent; proficient in MS Office; must have a valid class 5 driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate in Agriculture, Agri-Business, Business Administration or Sales and Marketing or equivalent post-secondary education
- Minimum of one year of experience in agriculture or other sales related customer service function
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Efficient in MS Office and experience utilizing relevant computer software programs
- Excellent customer service skills both in person and over the phone
- Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
