Job Summary
Customer Account Manager leads and supervises customer service representatives to ensure accurate order entry, processing, and shipping. Collaborates with Customer Service, Shipping, and Production Planners to meet on-time delivery and quality goals. Responsibilities include reviewing new and existing items for accurate input, assisting in pricing decisions when General Manager review is not required, handling customer questions, monitoring stock levels and inventory movement, and training personnel to maintain high-quality service. Preferred skills include computer literacy (MS Excel and MS Word) and experience in manufacturing and the corrugated container industry. The role emphasizes people leadership, process improvement, and cross-functional coordination to deliver reliable service and support for demanding customers.
Required Qualifications
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- Five years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Three years supervisory experience overseeing three or more people
