Job Summary
Manage customer account information and coordinate accounts receivable, collections, and accounts payable functions. Maintain accurate inventory levels by reconciling counts, investigating discrepancies, and tracking shipments while preparing reports on usage and variances. Assist with route forecasting, scheduling daily service work, and demand planning to ensure operational efficiency. This role supports Suburban Propane's nationwide propane distribution network, which serves over 1 million customers across 42 states.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or accounting role
- Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office, data entry and the ability to run and analyze reports
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a team environment
- Experience in inventory control
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic math and data analysis skills
- Basic understand and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Background checks and drug screens are performed
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School diploma or GED preferred
