Custom Software Engineering Lead

Own the technical direction and architecture of custom software solutions and lead teams through design and delivery; set development standards and ensure code quality, scalability, and performance aligned to business objectives. Design, configure, and support end-to-end SWIFT messaging pipelines (AMH/ SAA), drive ISO 20022 migration, and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver compliant, scalable payment solutions. Lead AMH engineering/configuration, message transformation (XML/XSLT/JSON), integration with core banking systems (T24, Finacle, GPP, LOANIQ) and middleware (MQ, IIB/ACE); manage deployments across DEV/SIT/UAT/PROD; coordinate SWIFT CSP audits and patching; contribute to functional test design (SIT/UAT) and defect triage. Strong emphasis on cross-border payments, payment lifecycle, settlement, reconciliation, and compliance; ensure MT/ MX message format accuracy (MT103/202/900/910, MX p- and camt messages); stay current with ISO 20022/CBPR+ rules and SWIFT releases. Technical-functional profile required with ability to bridge technical SWIFT configurations and payments domain understanding; stakeholder communication and multi-vendor delivery experience are essential.
